CLOSEDv4 shipped with a single illustration doing the job of 23. We kept reusing it because getting a second one meant reopening those 3 closed doors.
WHAT IT SAYS
The use case. Which moment is this, and what should the user feel? Changes with every illustration.
HOW IT LOOKS
Style, perspective, composition, lighting, color, mood. This never changes. This is the brand.
An empty-state illustration for a search screen, shown when no results are found. A magnifying glass over empty space reads as "looking, nothing here yet."
02 STYLE
Soft 3D glassmorphism. Glossy, frosted, translucent, never flat or cartoonish.
03 PERSPECTIVE
Slight 3/4 angle. Dimensional, but clean and front-facing.
04 COMPOSITION
Off-center hero, one accent element, generous negative space.
05 LIGHTING & DEPTH
Light from top-left, soft ground shadow for grounding.
06 COLOR
One accent hue on soft neutrals. Low saturation, airy, calm.
07 MOOD
Calm and purposeful. Friendly, light, unhurried.
